Nicky Wu and Athena Chu have been filming their latest tv drama "Xiao Shi Yi Lang" for two months. As the weather is very hot and there are many action scenes to be taken, the filming is very difficult and tiring. However, Nicky did not complain and even does many of the action stunts himself. In a scene where he had to jump onto a wooden house about one level high, Nicky did the whole scene himself, hoping to get the best effect. Everything went very smooth and took only one take. However, when the others were helping Nicky to change for the next scene, they found that both his palms had been wounded by the splints of the house, and were covered with blood. Yet, Nicky did not seem to mind about the injury, and even asked the director whether they needed retake the scene!

The condition of the filiming place is very bad and the weather is very hot. Some of the crew even fainted from sun-stroke. To prevent getting dehydrated and sun-stroke, Nicky and Athena kept drinking water. Nicky also had to film many scenes of jumping into the water. The condition of the river is very bad with many worms, but Nicky joked that it is very cooling in the water.

During the night, they had to tolerate the attacks from the moths because the lightings from the filming equipment attacted many moths. Some of the moths were even as big as the size of the hand palm. Therefore, Athena and Nicky were very careful when they were filming together, fearing that the moth would fly into their mouth, interrupting their speech.

Nicky has engage a housekeeper who had once learned cookery in Taiwan. Everyday, she would cook tonic soup for him. This is the sixth time that he and Athena worked together, and there is no problem taking the love scene. The director said that with the rate that they are filming, there is hope that the filming could be finished one month earlier.
