After Shidu, Beijing, followed by Hebei Dam, the television serial "Xiao Shiyi Lang" filming crew continued their shooting to Suzhou. With beautiful scenes and golden couple, Nicky Wu and Athena Chu, this serial is certainly one to look forward to. Many modern artists are not suitable to ancient dressing. However, there is always exception. Once dressed in their costumes, Nicky Wu and Athena seemed to the exact image of "Xiao Shiyi Lang" and "Shen Bijun" in our mind!

In the love triangle of Xiao Shiyi Lang, Shen Bijun and Lian Chengbi, only love is forever and wonderful. And the love between Xiao and Shen seemed to be the only one that is unforgettable. The filming at Suzhou concentrated on the background of Shen and Lian. The director had also increased the scenes of Lian (played by Yu Bo), the lawful husband of Shen. And Athena Chu, acting as Shen, had once been in suspicion and doubtful under the fight of her family for their own gain. Eventually, she finally realised that she could not salvage anything by sacrificing and break up from her family. In between filming, Athena and Nicky revealed many interesting incidents that they had during filming.

For one, Athena's skin is healthily tanned while Nicky's is very fair, creating an amusing sight of the female main role being darker than the male.

The "Xiao Shiyi Lang" is dubbde in Mandarin. This is a big problem to Hong Konger Athena, whoses Mandarin is not very good.

Nicky also had joint ailment at his right shoulder. Now Nicky had become an expert in putting the joint back to place. When he told the crew that he is very luck this time as his joint had only dropped twice, the crew was shocked asking,"How many times do you think it should have dropped?!"

Sometime back, there are news about Nicky's hand being injured during filming. When asked about it, Nicky chuckled that it is true that he had been injured in a bombing scene, but not serious. He had managed to dodge in time, hence only his right hand was burnt but is not serious.
